The YMCA of Pueblo is honored to open our doors as a Community Respite Center for individuals and families displaced by the Aspen Acres Fire. During this difficult time, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming place where our community can find comfort, support, and a moment to reset.
There is no cost for individuals and families who have been evacuated or displaced by the Aspen Acres Fire. Guests must provide proof of evacuation or displacement, such as an official evacuation notice or other verification, to receive complimentary access to the facility.
Those utilizing the Community Respite Center may enjoy the YMCA just as a member would during normal operating hours, including access to showers, restrooms, drinking water, complimentary Wi-Fi, device charging, a safe air-conditioned environment, and spaces to rest and recharge. Additional amenities are available according to our regular facility schedule.
Our Community Respite Center does not have structured hours or scheduled activities. We encourage guests to refer to the YMCA schedules for facility hours, program times, and amenity availability.
As conditions evolve, the YMCA of Pueblo will continue to evaluate additional resources and services for those impacted. Please check our website and social media channels for the latest updates. Our hearts remain with everyone affected, and we are honored to support our community during this time.
