Book Club is a great way to expand your horizons, improve your reading skills, promote learning, and enjoy stimulating conversation while building lasting relationships. Thank you to the Pueblo City-County Library District for partnering with our YMCA to provide the following selection:
February's pick: "The God of the Woods" by Liz Moore. Early morning, August 1975, a teenager vanishes from her Adirondack summer camp and two worlds collide. She is the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the region's residents. Ironically, this isn't the first time a child in the same family has disappeared. As a panicked search begins, a thrilling drama unfolds.

Friday the 13th is NEVER scary and always lucky when you get to party with your peeps at the YMCA! Go green with your attire or bring the spring colors and Easter bonnets too! Our monthly pot luck starts at 12:00pm the SECOND Friday of every month in our Community Rooms. Please bring a dish to share. More savory, less desserts please!

This inviting and safe space allows you to share your writing, reflect, and be inspired by others. Whether you're journaling life stories, crafting poems, or exploring new ideas, Writers Corner offers encouragement, connection, and the joy of putting words to paper.

Join us every Wednesday from 11:00am-3:00pm in the YMCA's Community Rooms for Creative Corner! This is a welcoming space where adults come together to share their hobbies and spark inspiration. Bring your own supplies and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and community. Whether you paint, draw, knit, crochet, quilt, bead, stamp or scrapbook—or simply love trying new crafts—you’ll find friends and fun waiting for you!
