Mom Son Dance

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the YMCA's 2nd Annual Mom Son Dance! All ages are invited to a magical evening in the Emerald City! Join us Saturday, November 8, 2025, for a Emerald City-themed Mom Son Dance that's full of fun, laughter, prizes, and unforgettable memories. Dress to impress and step onto the Yellow Brick Road as you enjoy dancing, games, photo ops, and themed activities that will transport you over the rainbow!

Our Music & Movement class for tots is a joyful, lively experience designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Through songs, rhythmic activities, simple instruments, and creative movement, little ones will discover sound, develop motor skills, and make early social connections in a supportive environment.

Each class nurtures self-expression, listening, and coordination while inspiring a lifelong love for music. From clapping to the beat and twirling with scarves to shaking maracas, your child will leave each session engaged, growing, and grinning ear to ear! Spots are limited!

Lace up for the 17th Annual Turkey Trot 5K presented by Black Hills Energy! Start your Thanksgiving morning with Pueblo’s favorite holiday tradition! The Turkey Trot is more than just a race. It’s a celebration of community, gratitude, and giving back. Every step you take helps support the YMCA of Pueblo, with proceeds providing scholarships and financial assistance for local families in need.

Event Highlights:

• FREE Kids 1K Fun Run (Ages 12 & under) Starts at 8:15am, no registration required.
• 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00am at the YMCA of Pueblo (3200 E Spaulding Ave)
• Commemorative T-Shirts for all 5K participants. Excludes the free 1k Fun Run.
• No Same Day Registration! Sign up early to secure your spot!

Parents, enjoy a well-deserved night off this holiday season while your little elves have a holly jolly evening at the YMCA of Pueblo! This festive Parents Night Out includes holiday games, crafts, swimming, and more. Each child will enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and a cheerful, kid-friendly movie to end the night. Hot Chocolate Run

Get ready to race through a sweet adventure at our first Hot Chocolate Run! This race will be located at the YMCA of Pueblo, 3200 E Spaulding Avenue at 9:00am on Saturday, December 27. Whether you're a seasoned runner or casual walker, this delightful dash promises miles of smiles and chocolatey rewards. Keep the holiday spirit at the YMCA with some hot chocolate in hand! NO SAME DAY RACE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE!

CPR/FA/AED Classes

Adult Only Courses

Learn Adult Child, and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED skills at the YMCA. This class will have both hands-on and lecture components. Lecture components will be done online prior to attending the class. You must pass an in-person skills test. At the end of this class, you will receive a two-year certification from the Red Cross. MORE COURSES TBA

Family Courses

The parents will receive a FA/CPR certification, the children will learn basics during the class. We feel it is important for all members of a family to know what to do in case of an emergency. We will go over those basics. Parents will be asked to provide an email for each parent to receive the online training and then the class time will be to test your skills. MORE COURSES TBA
