Think you've got the best chili in Pueblo? Prove it at our exclusive Members-Only Chili Cook-Off! Bring your best red and/or green chili to the YMCA of Pueblo and let the judges decide. Fun, food, and bragging rights are on the line. Plus, the winners will take home a YMCA prize pack, be featured in our November newsletter, and claim the title of Chili Champion!

• There will be two categories: Youth (Ages 7-17) and Adult (Ages 18+)
• Judging categories include: Color, Flavor, Aroma, Heat, & Texture
• Double entry allowed! $10.00 per entry

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

AGES 3-12 | OCTOBER 11 | 4PM-9PM

Parents, treat yourself to a well-deserved night off while your little ghouls and goblins enjoy a fang-tastic evening at the YMCA of Pueblo! This Halloween-themed PNO will be packed with festive games, activities, swimming and more. Each child receives a freshly prepared dinner and enjoys a kid-friendly film to end the night. Get ready to paint, play, and pumpkin-party with us on Saturday, October 25! Bring the whole family for a festive afternoon of pumpkin painting fun. Your registration includes one pumpkin per family plus all the brushes, paints, and sparkly supplies you’ll need to bring your pumpkin to life.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Spooky Sprint 5k! Embrace the chills at this evening race for a hauntingly good time! Wear your costume, eat some candy, and run! Our Music & Movement class for tots is a joyful, lively experience designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Through songs, rhythmic activities, simple instruments, and creative movement, little ones will discover sound, develop motor skills, and make early social connections in a supportive environment.

Each class nurtures self-expression, listening, and coordination while inspiring a lifelong love for music. From clapping to the beat and twirling with scarves to shaking maracas, your child will leave each session engaged, growing, and grinning ear to ear! Spots are limited!

Every step you take helps support the YMCA of Pueblo, with proceeds providing scholarships and financial assistance for local families in need.

• FREE Kids 1K Fun Run (Ages 12 & under) Starts at 8:15am, no registration required.

CPR/FA/AED Classes

Adult Only Courses

Learn Adult Child, and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED skills at the YMCA. This class will have both hands-on and lecture components. Lecture components will be done online prior to attending the class. You must pass an in-person skills test. At the end of this class, you will receive a two-year certification from the Red Cross. MORE COURSES TBA

Family Courses

The parents will receive a FA/CPR certification, the children will learn basics during the class. We feel it is important for all members of a family to know what to do in case of an emergency. We will go over those basics. Parents will be asked to provide an email for each parent to receive the online training and then the class time will be to test your skills. MORE COURSES TBA

Spooky Sprint 5k
